Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games was a real hit when it was released at November 2007. This game included several cartoon characters that we all loved. Now, a new sequel to the game was released titled Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.
The game was released ahead of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games that will be held in Vancouver, Canada. Sega Japan developed the game and has really hit all the right spot. There are plenty of sports to choose from and this will take you weeks or even months to play them all.
All the games that will be presented in the real 2010 Olympic Winter Games will be played in this game. The player can control either a Nintendo or Sega character. And a lot of players are really happy with this game as old memories come to life.
In Nintendo DS, the player can accept missions or quests. Doctor Eggman and Bowser must also be stopped from disrupting the Olympics and they will do it by capturing the Snow Spirits. So, Mario and Sonic must look out for these two menace.
Festival mode is a new addition to Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games where the player participates in all of the events. The player can join the opening ceremony until the closing of the whole event.
Multiplayer mode allows the player to choose either competitive or co-op gameplay. This will present more excitement and fun when playing the game. Meanwhile, with the use of Nintendo DS, the multiplayer mode will be available through wireless connection. Adventure Tours is a mode in Nintendo DS where the player can accept challenges or quests. The player must also stop Bowser and Doctor Eggman from stopping the Olympics.
